Measures taken to enhance police efficiency in Balochistan

IGP lauds the provincial government, Pakistan Army, and other agencies for cooperation

QUETTA: Balochistan Inspector General Police (IGP) Mohsin Hassan Butt on Wednesday said that special measures are being taken to provide modern training and equipment to the police for tackling future challenges. Professional skills of Balochistan Police will be further improved, he added.

Expressing these views while inspecting modern machinery, latest devices and equipment provided by UNODC, IGP Mohsin Hassan Butt said that all available resources are being utilised to bring innovation in all the fields of Balochistan police.

Additional Inspector General Jahanzeb Khan Jogazai, DIG Crime Branch Wazir Khan Nasir, DIG CTD Aitazaz Ahmed Goraya and DIG Headquarters Fida Hussain Shah were also present on the occasion.

The IGP appreciated the provincial government, Pakistan Army, and other agencies for their cooperation in enhancing the capacity. The forces have become more successful in protecting the lives of the people, he said.
