Three killed, seven injured in roof collapse

LAHORE: Three persons including two women were killed while seven were injured after the roof of an old house collapsed in Samanabad. Rescue officials said that ten persons including a 7-year-old girl were buried under the debris of the old house after its roof collapsed.

On receiving information, Rescue teams arrived on the spot and recovered the bodies of the three deceased from the rubble.

The injured persons were shifted the injured to Lahore Services hospital.

The deceased victims were identified as 75-year-old Shareef, 45-year-old Rafat Bibi and Nazia while the injured victims included 7-year-old Maryam, 20-year-old Noor, 45-year-old Rani, 47-year-old Asma, 23-year-old Waqas and 20-year-old Awais.
