Speaking to reporters in Kalat, he said the PTI government has been following the old doctrine of ‘look busy and do nothing’.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan himself once said that if Indian premier Narendra Modi is elected again in the country’s elections, the seven decades old issue would surely be resolved,” the JUI-F leader recalled.
Replying to a question Haideri insisted that the need of the hour is to take concrete steps and practical measures for the oppressed Kashmiri Muslims.
“Nothing will be achieved by the speeches in the United Nations,” he bemoaned.
“Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) wants to know the practical consequences of the attempts and measures taken by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on ground. Nothing has been achieved so far,” Maulana Haideri said.
Criticising Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, senator Haideri said that the former was once close to Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif, then left his old affiliations and intimacy with him only to join Pakistan Muslim League Quaid-e-Azam (PML-Q). He said Rasheed’s ‘honeymoon period’ with the Chaudhry brothers also came to an end.
Talking about JUI-F’s march to the capital, Haideri said that PML-N should join hands with the party against the ‘illegal’ PTI government. “Hopefully they will become a part of the movement,” he aspired.
