KARACHI: The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) urged the government to support small enterprises that want to install renewable energy systems. UNISAME president Zulfikar Thaver said that it is hard for investors to install alternative sources because of the hostility they face. UNISAME convener Obaid-ur-Rahman said that there had been developments in the sector this year, and that the Netherlands, Germany and Turkey have also shown commitment to the field.
