KARACHI:
The government should complete the dyke repair work before the monsoon and flood seasons start, said Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh Amir Asadullah Bhutto. “Despite the fact that a year has passed, the government has failed to finish the repair work,” he said. “The people of Sindh are worried about the flood season. The negligence on the government’s part has made their lives insecure.” Bhutto added that the JI will publish a ‘white paper’ against the corruption of rulers with special focus on the stagnation in the dyke repair funds.
