He said that the reason is to give the status of industrial zone to Darra is the people can make the firearms at their homes.
He was addressing the public meeting at the occasion of the inauguration of the gas project in Darra on Monday.
Earlier, the CM, Governor Shah Farman, and SAFRON State Minister Sharyar Afridi inaugurated the gas project of worth Rs35 billion for Darra Adam Khel.
In his address, the chief minister vowed to resolve all issues of Darra and expressed optimism in the development of the area. He said the provincial government will spend Rs83 billion for the tribes and will include other areas of this gas project.
Lashing at the opponents, Mahmood said that distractors do nothing nor let other people work.
He said the government introduced Sehat Insaf Card which will help 1.2 million tribal people get the free medical facility. Moreover, the CM said, people of the area will get interest free loans for starting businesses.
Besides, the PTI government was in the process of upgrading feeder and hospital and establish a girls college in the area and a sports complex too.
Mahmood said an Expressway will be made for the benefit of southern districts of K-P. He noted that in previous governments, more districts were made like division of Kohistan which created problems for the local people. Hence, the government has decided to form an inclusive committee which will decide on making Darra Adam Khel a district or not.
Regarding Premier Imran Khan’s speech in the UN General Assembly, Mahmood said PM has emerged as a role model for all Muslim countries. “I salute Imran Khan for presenting the Kashmir problem at UN General Assembly in a better way,” Mahmood said.
He said that he wanted to congratulate the people of the whole country as PM made the speech in UNGA as an ambassador of Kashmir.
He said that Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was respected for having torn papers in UNO, however, issues are not resolved like this but by taking practical measures and this can only be done by Imran Khan.
Advising Kashmir’s people of patience, he said Imran would ultimately get the Kashmiris free. “However if Jihad is declared, I will be the first one to go on the frontline,” Mahmood said.
On the occasion, the notable people of Darra Adam Khail honoured CM, governor and state minister for SAFRON by giving them traditional turbans.
Minister of State for SAFRON and Anti-narcotics control Shehryar Afridi said that the politicians have fooled people in the name of Islam and now they compete in the ground or wait for five years as the public has rejected them and they have to accept this reality. While addressing the public meeting at the occasion of the inauguration of the gas project in Darra on Monday, he said that the people who used the tribes for their personal gains did nothing; our govt has given rights to tribes.
He said that CM and governor belong to common families and now the time of dynasty politics has gone. He said: “We have made the Kashmir independent before and will again make it independent again.”
He said that the industry of firearms in Darra should be regularized and given legal shape. Afridi reminded that PM Imran had gifted a Darra made a gun to Saudi crown prince as a gift from the nation of Pakistan.
He said the present government will end the despair of the people, now the money will be spent to people and will not go to anyone’s pockets, He said that no one can eat illegal money and which do this will not remain in Imran Khan’s team.
Ex-candidate of PTI Haji Abdur Rehman said that FR Peshawar and Kohat demands the status of the district to Duraa Adam Khel and also he demanded the status of the industrial zone and provision of interest-free loans to the people of Darra.
