Yasir Hameed has served out his punishment for breaching the Pakistan Cricket Board code of conduct.
KARACHI:
Discarded Test batsman Yasir Hameed has served out his punishment for breaching the Pakistan Cricket Board code of conduct during the England tour last year. “The board’s disciplinary committee had fined me Rs0.3m and banned me for the second half of the last domestic season,” he said. “I ‘ve paid the fine and served my ban.” The right-hander ran into trouble when he was hoodwinked by the News of the World into speaking to an undercover reporter on the spot-fixing issue.
