NAB seeks details of Qaimkhani's tenure
The accountability watchdog has sought an explanation from the hospital administration in its letter, seeking details on how many machines were purchased, how many were installed in the Urology Department and how many patients underwent dialysis.
Around 10 dialysis machines were imported from Japan in 2017-18 when Pechuho was the health secretary, but now there is no information about them.
According to sources affiliated with the hospital, the machines were installed in the Urology Department of Peoples Medical Hospital. The medical superintendent, Dr Yousuf Zardari confirmed that they have received a letter from the NAB, seeking details of the dialysis machines.
