Sectarian killings: 6 gunned down in Balochistan

The incident appears to have taken place over tribal rivalry.

QUETTA: Six people, including a former police constable, were shot dead on Sunday in two separate incidents in Quetta and Mastung. In what appears to be sectarian killings, three people were shot dead by unknown assailants on Qambrani Road. According to a senior police officer, the victims, two of whom were Shias and on their way home from a game when they were attacked. Meanwhile, a group of armed men intercepted a wagon and gunned down three of its passengers in the Khad Kucha area of Mastung. The incident appears to have taken place over tribal rivalry. No case had been registered till the filing of this report.
