Sindh Rangers, CTD arrest 10 suspects

Seize weapons, drugs and other stolen items

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers and counter-terrorism department (CTD) officials arrested 10 suspects on Saturday during different operations in the city. They claimed to have seized weapons, drugs and other stolen items. Rangers carried out raids in areas under the jurisdictions of Kharadar, Korangi Industrial Area, Baldia Town, Nabi Bakhsh, Brigade and Khokrapar Police Station. According to Rangers’ representatives, suspects, Muhammad Rizwan, Muhammad Alam, Shehryar, Ahmed Shehzad, Muhammad Akram, and Waqar, were involved in street crimes, robberies and drug dealing. The suspects have been handed over to the police for further investigation. Meanwhile, CTD officials raided a truck and seized 176 kilogrammes of hashish. They arrested two suspects, including the truck driver, Lal Muhammad.
