“The Balochistan government is taking all possible measures to ensure the provision of basic facilities, including clean water, healthcare and education, to the people of the province,” said the adviser while talking to the media-persons on Friday.
“Two high and two middle schools will be constructed in Zhob for which the government has allocated Rs400 million in the provincial Public Sector Development Programme,” said Kakar.

“Many government schools in Zhob have been upgraded from primary to middle and from the middle to high, as measures are underway to improve the structure of the education system.”
On water scarcity in the district, Kakar said, “An amount of Rs208 million has been allocated for water projects in Zhob, while Rs60.5 million has already been released for water schemes in rural areas of the district.”
He announced that handsome allocations had been made in the PSDP for setting up a trauma centre and a national highway for the people of Zhob, saying these projects would ensure quality health and travel facilities.

For improving the infrastructure of Zhob, Kakar said an amount of Rs306 million had been allocated in the PSDP for the purpose.
“We have entered parliament with a vision to resolve public issues on a priority basis and ensure the provision of basic facilities to the masses,” said Kakar, directing district authorities to make earnest efforts in the provision of quick relief to the masses in Zhob.
“We are strictly following the policy of zero-tolerance towards any official who shows flagrant disregard to public issues,” he added.
