‘Emergency wards of six hospitals to be upgraded’  

Chief minister says that the provision of better healthcare facilities to patients will be ensured

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that emergency wards of six major hospitals in the city will be upgraded.

He was talking to Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid at the CM’s Office on Thursday.

The chief minister said that the provision of better healthcare facilities to patients would be ensured at Mayo Hospital, Jinnah Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram, Lahore General Hospital, Services Hospital and Children’s Hospital besides upgradation of their emergency wards. Staff would be deputed in emergency wards in a special uniform to provide guidance to patients and their attendants.
