Iqra Aziz says no to whitening cream advertisement, despite hefty offer

We laud the actor for her decision

Iqra Aziz is the latest celebrity to have been approached to endorse a whitening cream. However, the starlet has reportedly refused to do so.

Iqra's fiance,  actor Yasir Hussain, took to Instagram recently to laud the actor and began, "I love you even more for what you did yesterday."

"Yeh baat aap sab ko batana is liye zaroori hai kyon ke yeh aik behtareen kaam hai . Kal Iqra ne aik whitening cream ka advertisement karnay se mana kar dia jo society main complex phelane ke bohot saray paisay bhi offer kar rahy thay (It is imperative for me to mention here that it is indeed a bold step that Iqra has taken. Yesterday, she turned down an offer to work in an advertisement for a whitening cream. They were even offering her a hefty amount  as well for spreading complex amongst the masses)." added the Lahore Say Aagay star.

"Juratmandana aur sahi qadam uthaya aap ne (A right and brave step taken by Iqra!," Yasir said. "Allah ne jesa banaya hai us main khush rahen (Be happy with the way God has created you." Yasir added.

Just some time ago, Yakeen Ka Safar star Sajal Aly irked many by endorsing a whitening cream. Aren't we living in a time where being fair shouldn't be counted an as achievement? We laud Iqra for her decision.
