Disobedience: Arrest warrants for SHO

LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge, Malik Mubeen, on Saturday issued arrest warrants for a Manga Mandi station house officer for failing to comply with court orders. The court had appointed Manga Mandi SHO as bailiff in a petition filed by Shakeela Bibi accusing her husband of detained their daughter against her will. SHO was directed to recover the girl and produce her before the court but he failed to comply despite several summons. On Saturday, the court directed a deputy superintendent of police (Circle) to arrest the SHO and produce him before the court on the next hearing.
