Following complaints of incompetence as the department failed to remove the piles of garbage accumulated in the city

KARACHI: The Sindh government has decided to part with the services of the Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB) managing director amid complaints of incompetence and maladministration as well as the department’s failure to remove the piles of garbage accumulated in different areas in Karachi. According to a notification issued on Wednesday, Dr AD Sanjani has been replaced by Grade 20 officer Asif Ikram.
