IG FC says education is important for a brighter future in Balochistan
QUETTA:
Inspector General Frontier Corps (IG FC) Balochistan Major General Faiz ul Hassan Shah has said that by securing borders with Iran and Afghanistan, Frontier Corps have been utilising their expertise in protecting the masses’ lives and properties.
“The paramilitary force has been battling with terrorists as well as chasing drug traffickers across the province. The menace of drug addiction is destroying the provincial youth,” Major General Faiz ul Hassan Shah said while addressing the 63rd passing-out parade of FC recruits in Loralai.
Paying homage to the martyrs of the FC, he said the force has rendered huge sacrifices in the war against terrorism and it will continue to eliminate it from Balochistan.
FC operation: 10 militants killed in Harnai
Commandant North Brigadier Liaquat Ali, Commissioner Zhob Division Sohail ur Rehman, DSP Loralai, Chief Instructor FC Training Centre Loralai Lieutenant Colonel Kamran, MNA Maulana Ameer Zaman and government officials were also present at the ceremony.
IG FC Balochistan further said that 1,535 new recruits have joined paramilitary force and they have a responsibility to continue protecting the masses in the province.
“FC Balochistan has been protecting provincial borders with Iran and Afghanistan and it is also imparting assistance in education and health sectors,” Major General Faiz ul Hassan Shah added.
He stressed upon parents to educate their children, affirming that a dream of a brighter and prosperous Balochistan is impossible without education.
The IG Frontier Corps also distributed awards and shields among recruits who performed well during their training courses.
