Two killed in separate incidents

Separately, a man kills his wife over domestic issues on Sargodha Road

FAISALABAD: Two people including a woman were killed in separate incidents in Faisalabad on Monday. Police officials said that Ejaz, a resident of Raheem Town, was travelling on a motorcycle near Jhang Bazaar when unidentified assailants riding a bike opened indiscriminate fire at him. As a result, Ejaz succumbed to bullet injuries on the spot while the culprits managed to flee. Police shifted the body to the mortuary of Allied Hospital and opened investigation. Separately, a man killed his wife over domestic issues on Sargodha Road. Police officials said that Nasira, 29, exchanged harsh words with her spouse Rasheed, a resident of Sargodha Road, which enraged him. In a fit of rage, Rasheed shot his wife dead. Police are looking into the matter.
