Many accidents have occurred owing to the carelessness of parents who let their children drive at a young age
SWABI: One of the secrets behind the developed countries’ progress is their fine traffic system. Regrettably, the traffic system of our country is in a shambles. Not a day passes when a horrifying accident does not take place claiming many precious lives. Over-speeding, under-age driving, narrower & crowded roads are not the only reason for the ever-increasing number of accidents but lack of awareness and non-familiarity with traffic rules are also its contributory factors. Unfortunately, Pakistan is yet to set up such institutions where the drivers are given basic training on and about the vehicle they would ride on. Many accidents have occurred owing to the carelessness of parents who let their children drive at a young age. Parents should keep their children away from bikes unless they reach the legal age.
The state also need to set up such institutions where the drivers are imparted general driving education, traffic rules and technical training about the vehicle they drive. This is how traffic accidents can be avoided and its high ratio may be reduced.
