Police arrest eight suspects, recover drugs and weapons
Suspect found with 120 grammes of hashish
ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad Police have arrested eight suspects from various areas of the city and recovered narcotics, cash and weapons from them, a police spokesperson said.
Following the directions of Islamabad IGP Aamir Zulfiqar Khan and Operations- DIG Waqaruddin Syed, all officials of Islamabad Police have accelerated efforts to curb criminal activity and stop drug pushers.
The Bhara Kahu police said that they had arrested a suspect, Abid Ali, and recovered 120 grammes of hashish from him. Similarly, the Tarnol police arrested Muddsar Iqbal and allegedly recovered a 32 bore revolver from him.
