ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sayed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari opined that the people of Pakistan have strong historical ties with the people of Kashmir and no power on earth can disrupt this deep rooted bond. He said the dream of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the sub-continent would not be complete without the freedom of Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK), which, was supposed to be a part of Pakistan. Addressing a gathering at OPF Girls College, F-8/2 Islamabad to mark the Defence and Kashmir Solidarity Day, Bukhari pledged to support the freedom movement of the Muslims of IoK and condemned the heinous acts of the Indian forces on women and children violating the basic human rights of the Kashmiris. OPF Managing Director Dr Amer Sheikh urged the international community to raise its voice in seeking an end to the violations of human rights and state terrorism in IoK.
