QUETTA: Central leader Awami National Party and Provincial Minister for Agriculture Engineer Zamrak Achakzai has urged the Pashtun people to excel in education in order to compete with the rest of the world. “We have to expedite our struggle in order to attain the goals of Bacha Khan’s philosophy because without reprieving the Pashtun nation from the darkness of illiteracy, we can’t fulfill his dream,” Zamrak Achakzai said on Thursday while meeting a delegation of students in Quetta. “Current government has been striving hard for educational reforms in Balochistan and the chief minister vowed to eradicate flaws in the educational System,” he added. The ANP leader stressed upon Pashtoon youth to pursue education as it was the only key to succeed. “Being followers of Bacha Khan Baba, we should foster education in our villages and cities because educational deprivation has already pushed us back from the development track,” he said. Zamrak Achakzai added that Awami National Party (ANP) never opposed education for boys and girls and it believes in equal educational rights for all children. The Pashtun nation should pursue educational track because without it we can’t walk with developed nations, he added.
