RAWALPINDI:
A three-day painting exhibition on the life of a military man at sea at the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC) concluded on Sunday.
The exhibition, organised in connection with Defence Day, featured artwork by Navy Commander Tariq Muneeb.
Commander Muneeb, who joined Pakistan Navy in 1980 and retired in 2008, had started by sketching cartoons in various naval magazines and books during his service. But after retirement, he picked up a stick of charcoal and brush to create vistas from his time at sea on canvas.
After his first solo exhibition at the Centaurus Mall in Islamabad earlier this year on Pakistan Day, he has held his second solo exhibit.
He prepared 55 pieces for the exhibition at the RAC gallery.
