Justice for Hunain

Letter September 08, 2019
Hafiz Hunain, a 17-year-old boy, was beaten to death by his teacher

RAWALPINDI: It is a pity that hearing about a death is not even horrifying or shocking anymore. Every day we hear and sometimes witness the cruelty of evil creatures garbed in human bodies.

A few days ago I read the news about Hafiz Hunain, a 17-year-old boy, beaten to death allegedly by his teacher. Knowing that people the same age as you are dying like this, shocks you. Just like Urooj Fatima shocked me a few months ago, Hunain’s death made me go through the pain again. These are the examples being set by callous barbarians who call themselves human. I urge the authorities to make sure that the culprit is punished and to also make sure that such heinous crimes never takes place again.
