KECH: Recently, a video of an ATM thief shocked the people after it went viral on social media. One can easily infer from the 22-second video that Salahuddin was suffering extreme pain due to brutal torture. In the video, his hands are tied behind his back and the Punjab police were unsparingly beating the suspect. According to a report, he died in mysterious circumstances in police custody on Sunday. I urge the authorities concerned to take action against those who were involved in this kind of inhuman treatment and bring him/them to justice so as to discourage such activities.
