Footage of Israelis shooting Turkish youth released

In a recently released video footage of the freedom flotilla massacre, Israeli commandoes are seen shooting a Turkish youth at point blank range.

As is evident from the video, the commandoes beat up the 19-year-old Turkish citizen before killing him.

An official from the Turkish Islamic charity that spearheaded the campaign to bust the blockade on Gaza identified the victim as Furkan Dogan.

Dogan had sustained four bullet wounds to the head and one to the chest. He originally belonged to the central Turkish town of Kayseri and was also a US citizen.

Bob | 14 years ago | Reply Since the video shows them shooting at someone, or possibly the ground next to him, with a paintball gun, this isn't an execution. Also, one kick, not kick-kick-kick. They got someone down and he was probably trying to get up. They kicked him to get him to stay down. Then they shot him with a paintball gun to get him to stay down. Honestly, how far gone in hatred of Jews do you have to be to think shooting someone with a paintball gun is an execution?

Military is not supposed to attack a civilian ship bound to Gaza that is illegally blockaded by a terrorist state, who is licensed to kill without hesitation. A vessel in international water could only be boarded in israel like occupation, only with the mandate of UN and with proof. They dint find an EFFIN thing there that could even light a paper. They killed unarmed innocents on the ship, who would definitely retaliate on such an offensive for their SELF-DEFENCE. Try using your head a bit, if it was such an offence by the passengers, there wouldn't be for the 1st time such a huge media coverage over this case.

Shoaib | 14 years ago | Reply @Shabah if i was on the ship and i saw a bunch of armed israeli soldiers coming my way i would beat them up with whatever i would find. that doesnt give them the right to shoot a 19 year old at point blank range. as steve said they had the man under control, he was on the ground from the beating, instead of restraining him, they shot him in the head.

This was a peace flotilla which was heading towards breaking the illegal blockade of the innocent people of Gaza who are stuck in a cage for the last two years just because they have rulers who are not liked by Israel .......... so this was the most accurate way to let the world realize that look people are forced to die there for nothing ......... and remember this flotilla was having not only Turkish nationals .... they have people from all around the world but look at the shrewdness of this Zionist army ....... who know that who are the people that have to be killed and thats why they kill only the turkish people ...

Because of this provocation, the activists were compelled to using anything they could get their hands on. Since Israel is the child of the UK & USA, how can it distinguish what is moral or immoral.

Does the Pakistan Army walks around empty handed in hostile territory? And after watching those videos, what are they supposed to do? Plead to the activists like "Please Please, don't hurt me?" You charge armed uniformed men with rods and what not and try and throw them overboard, they usually do open fire. They are not going to lay down their guns, go back to helicopter and come back armed with batons. They will use whatever they have. Who told the activists to attack the soldiers? It was the activists' fault. Pure and simple.

To me, soldiers getting on the ship with live bullets shows what were their intentions

A ship carrying unarmed peace activists, food, construction material and books for the the stranded citizens of Gaza (Palestine) was attacked by the Israel trained and sponsored pirates. Each drop of innocent blood will cost more blood and chaos. Shame on Israel and his illegitimate parents (UK and USA). USA has been attacking Afghanistan and Iraq to save "US citizens".
