‘Turkey, Pakistan stand together’
Turkish Ambassador Turkey and Pakistan are two brotherly Islamic countries
ISLAMABAD:
Turkish Ambassador to Pakistan Mustafa Yurdakul said that both countries would always stand by each other in difficult times. He was addressing a ceremony of awarding scholarships to Pakistani students in the Turkish Embassy. He added Turkey and Pakistan were two brotherly Islamic countries and would face challenges together. The ambassador expressed that Pakistan was the second home for Turks and told that Turkey would give free scholarships to 140 Pakistani students in different universities for masters, MPhil and PhD programmes. He said that Turkey would bear all the expenses of four-year scholarship programme which included one-year Turkish language certificate course. The ambassador added that the scholarship programme was similar to an investment in the education sector of Pakistani and assured that the number of scholarships would increase in years to come.
