DG NAB Balochistan inaugurates gallery

'Artists through their art can effectively disseminate anti-corruption messages in the society'

QUETTA: Director General National Accountability Bureau- Balochistan Farmanullah Khan has inaugurated the first ever art gallery of the anti-graft watchdog on Thursday. Prize winning art pieces on anti- corruption theme from various schools and colleges have been hanged on the walls of the gallery.  NAB Directors, renowned artists Ishaq Lehri, Waseema Talat, Maqsood Lashari and students from different varsities were also present on the occasion. While addressing the gathering, DG NAB Balochistan Farmanullah Khan stressed the need to engage artist fraternity in anti-corruption awareness activities and campaigns.  “Artists through their art can effectively disseminate anti-corruption messages in the society,” he notified. DG NAB stated that efforts are in full swing to eradicate corruption from the society through awareness, prevention and efficient enforcement of strategies. Farmanullah, however, refuted the notion that little amount was recovered from those accused of corruption under the Plea Bargain.
