Random Violence: Man killed in landmine blast

QUETTA: A man was killed and another sustained injures in a landmine explosion in restive Dera Bugti on Thursday. According to official sources, two persons were on a motorcycle and were on their way to Dera Bugti from Johri, a nearby village, when their bike hit a landmine near Paila. One of the men dies in the ensuing explosion while the other received serious wounds. Law enforcement officials rushed to the spot soon after the incident and took both to a nearby state-run hospital. The deceased was identified as Ali Hussain and the injured as Wali Dad. Hussain’s body was later handed over to his relatives for burial.
