Justice Isa to head SC’s bench 4 from Sept 11

Since filing of a presidential reference, he was not made part of any bench

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has issued judges’ roster for hearing of cases from September 11. According to the roster, Justice Qazi Faez Isa – who is facing a presidential reference for not declaring his family members assets – will head the fourth bench.

Overall six benches will hear cases. Bench number 1 will consist of Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Asif Saeed Khosa, Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Mazhar Alam Khan Miankhel.

Bench number 2 will comprise Justice Gulzar Ahmed and Justice Muneeb Akhtar. Bench number 3 will consist of Justice Mushir Alam and Justice Qazi Muhammad Ameen.



Justice Qazi Faez Isa will head bench number 4 that will also include Justice Maqbool Baqir and Justice Ijazul Ahsan.  Since filing of the presidential reference against Justice Isa in May this year, he was not included in any of the apex court benches.

According to the roster, bench number 5 will consist of Justice Manzoor Malik, Justice Sardar Tariq and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah and bench number 6 will comprise Justice Mansoor Ali Shah and Justice Yahya Afridi.
