Commissioner orders cutting weeds  

Machinery and staff have been deputed for removal of wild growth, trimming of trees and planting seasonal flowers

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed has directed to clear wild growth and vegetation from all parks, grounds, green belts, sectors and business centres within five days. Commissioner Ahmed in his capacity as chairman of CDA directed Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA) to coordinate with Environment and Sanitation Wing of Islamabad Municipal Corporation and formations concerned of the CDA for removal of wild bushes and vegetation and overall cleanliness of the city in connection with ongoing clean and green campaign. Machinery and staff has been deputed at Kashmir Highway, Muree Road, Kashmir Chowk, Pakistan Monument, Zero Point, Faisal Avenue, Margalla Road, Constitution Avenue for removal of wild growth, trimming of trees and plantatin seasonal flowers.
