Section 144 impose to avoid any untoward incident during the holy days
PESHAWAR:
For ensuring sustainable peace in the provincial capital during the first month of Muharram ul Haram in the Islamic calendar, section 144 to be implemented during the days of mourning. A notification issued here from the office of the Peshawar Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Asghar on Saturday stated that to avoid any untoward incident during the holy days, no wall-chalking to be permitted during the day near the mosques, Imambargah, pillion riding, tinted glasses on private and public vehicles would remain ban. During the azadari days the display of a weapon, limited the movement of Afghan national to their camps, distribution of objectionable pamphlets/posters would also be limited and total ban would be placed on hatred speech over the loud-speakers. The section 144 to be implemented from the first day of the Month till the 13 of the same Islamic month and violators to be punished under the PPC-188 of the same law.
