A 25-year-old man, Abid Pervaiz, was brought to Jinnah hospital at 1pm on Thursday with severe genital mutilation wounds. Doctors on duty said it was a miracle that the man had survived despite severe bleeding.
According to Mehmoodabad police station's duty officer SI Mohammad Azeem, Abid hails from Sukkur and was living in Mehmoodabad No. 5 with some distant relatives. He was divorced, but began communicating with his ex-wife again.
The couple decided to meet again and hired a room at the Royal City hotel, where the woman allegedly laced fruit juice with some sleeping pills. When Abid drowsily woke up, he discovered that his penis had been cut off. Azeem says although Abid was still in a state of shock, doctors have somehow managed to save his life.
"Abid told me that before he passed out completely, he heard his former wife speaking to someone on the phone, saying that she had carried out her plan," the officer says.
Police haven't been able to nab any one of the suspects involved in the incident since they got busy in a minor tiff of their own in deciding under whose jurisdiction the crime took place. Azeem said that although Abid was living in Mehmoodabad, the Royal City hotel came under the Preedy police station and they should lodge the case.

Wow, if the genders were reversed, there would be hell to pay and NGO's coming out of the wood work, but because it is a guy in pain, we get jokes. Disgusting. That is sexism at its worst. Women get support, men get nothing. And yet feminists still seem to believe that men are privileged and women victims. Doesn't seem that way to me.

I was just thinking to myself the other day how much I'd love it if somebody kidnapped every woman like this and made them live through the same horrors they inflicted. If that did happen, I would laugh because they would totally deserve it. It seems every so-called "justice system" is afraid to punish women at an appropriate level for their crimes. I've heard of a several cases like this where the woman didn't even go to prison. It's a travesty to believe people who mutilate others should be free. The best they deserve is to rot in jail for the rest of their lives, where they can't hurt anybody.

Why is it that whenever a woman commits the worst act a person can do to another (sexual mutilation), some women commend her? I don't know a single man that would support a man who raped, or worse, mutilated the genitals of a woman! It really speaks volumes as to how much hate these women have for the opposite gender. I just hope all the men out there are smart enough to steer clear of these man-hating beasts who think a man should be castrated for being unfaithful (which isn't even the case here), but a woman shouldn't be punished for sexual mutilation. What an absurdly illogical view of justice!

It is ironic nay pathetic that some men are showing more outrage on this woman's single action than any acid throwing incident I have read. This is not even the full story, but only allegations from one side. The story from the other side has yet to come out. Is it proven that it was his ex-wife who had tried to do that? A person in innocent till proved guilty. The “victim” who himself is a party is not a man of character and cannot be taken as credible witness. I am not approving any act of either party. The story is not clear and is rather complicated and nobody knows all the facts. What is clear is that this man would not dare have free out of wedlock sex ever in his life, what is bad about it? Nobody endorses violence, however, if a weaker person or a kid is tortured, molested or hurt be a strong man, what are the options? Simply surrender to him and all his wishes? Or if the weak can find a weapon or a chance to pay the aggressor back in the same coins it would be natural justice? Once the balance is restored such consequences would put the “fear of God” in most men’s hearts. Before they perpetrate any acts of violence, they would have to think many times. Without this kind of repercussions men are free to walk all over the weaker sex.
