LDA by-laws to be amended

Amendments will be introduced in by-laws of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) to help redress the problems of the developers and the people, said Punjab Minister for Housing, Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Mian Mahmood-ur Rasheed. He stated this while presiding over a meeting to review the proposed draft of amendments in by-laws of LDA regarding private housing schemes. The provincial minister said that the complexity of laws creates hurdles for the people and builders. “The purpose of the proposed amendments is to provide relief and to protect the people from different complexities.
