NEW DEHLI: Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram said that Pakistan had so far given no indication of sending its judicial commission for pursuing the November 26 Mumbai terror attack case, The Hindu reported on Wednesday.

“There is no indication from Pakistan if and when their team would be visiting India. The situation stands where it stood a few weeks ago,” he said while talking to journalists in New Delhi.
The Home minister said that Pakistan should also allow an Indian team to visit their country.

India had agreed to host the Pakistani judicial commission during the Home Secretary-level talks held in March. The commission would have been allowed to record statements of the magistrate, investigating officer and the doctor who had conducted the post-mortem of terrorists who attacked Mumbai on November 26, 2008.

The commission also wanted to interview Indian officials in connection with the trial of seven Pakistani suspects currently in Pakistani prisons in connection with the Mumbai terror attack case.

antony | 13 years ago | Reply Indians are really silly to expect pakistan to give way LeT commanders and ISI helpers for 26/11 to India . Think for one second ,what Pakistan did to the mighty benefactor USA who supplies arms ,facilitates IMF loans, provides AIDs and for 10 years OBL was never tracked and allowed to hide in abbotabad for 5 years . You may think may be ISI was not that competent to know who is in pakistan and who is not ..IF so the first thing Pakistan should have done in that case is rush through a commission to find out who was the DG ISI of abbotabad and publish the lapses and punish all those for their incompetence..What pakistan is doing is setting up a commission in a delayed fashion and the theme of the commision is "mysteries surrounding the shocking US raid in the heart of Pakistani territory " So US raid is shocking and not OBL living there 5 years . Where is India in the bargain list for 26/11 ... Pakistan to give LeT +ISI helpers for what ? ..For justice ? who cares about Justice !!! . What money can India give ? Can India give Kashmir ? Answer is No . Can India give complete wish list of pakistan in Water treaty ? .Answer is No . Can India give Sir Creek,Siachen ? Answer is No. Then India has to wait for another twice the period US waited say a decade and come up with some offer then PakMil will consider giving 1 or 2 LeT foot soldier.
