Cricket star Imad Wasim and his wife Sannia Ashfaq had their valima reception last night and if the pictures are anything to go by, it was quite a glamourous affair.

The couple shared the joyous occasion with family and friends, with the bride glistening in a traditional red and ivory ensemble.

Imad became the second cricketer after Hassan Ali to tie the knot this week. The all-rounder’s nikkah to the British-Pakistani was held on Saturday at Faisal Mosque, Islamabad.

According to reports, the couple first met in London where Sannia is based while Imad was touring the city. The two obviously hit it off and soon decided to make things official.

The sportsman has generally kept mum about his relationship and only spoke out to confirm the couple's wedding date. Now that the much-awaited nikkah has taken place, Imad and Sannia's assigned photographer Awais Javed took to their Instagram page to share some official photos of the wedded couple.

Imad wore a traditional shalwar kameez and waistcoat. He also dressed up the outfit with a men's dupatta and accessorised with a stylish pair of sunglasses and a classy wristwatch.

Sannia blew everyone away with her elegant wedding gown, made up of red and gold.

Another photo shared showed the bride sporting a different look that was apparently used for her entry. Sannia opted for all white with hints of pearl and glowy makeup.
