Mayor names Kamal as 'Project Director Garbage'

Mustafa Kamal has shown his willingness to clean the city of Karachi within 90 days, says mayor

KARACHI: Responding to Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) chief Mustafa Kamal's allegations, Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar issued a notification on Monday, designating the former mayor as 'Project Director Garbage' on a voluntary basis.

The notification, signed by the mayor himself, notes that "Syed Mustafa Kamal has shown his willingness to clean the city of Karachi within 90 days." The mayor, therefore entitled his predecessor as the project director with "immediate effect and until further orders".
