Works of poet Ahsan Ashraf launched posthumously

Poetic works of late poet Ahsan Ashraf have been launched at the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC).
The ceremony was presided over by his elder brother Chaudhry Rafiq and anchored by RAC Deputy Director Sajjad Hussain.
The launching ceremony for the book ‘Zeest’ by was also addressed by RAC Director Waqar Ahmed, Malik Umer Hayat, Sharjil Ashraf, Ch Muhammad Rafiq, and Mian Muhammad Shahzad.
Speakers shed light on the work and personality of Ashraf.
His works having multi-dimensions was discussed in detail. In the second part of the ceremony, Punjab Arts Council Deputy Director Ghulam Abbas Farasat recited the poetry of Ahsan Ashraf and received a round of applause.
