Rs5.7b collected in taxes in July
Rs699.44 m was collected in terms of motor vehicle tax, Rs3999.688 m in infrastructure & Rs47.04 m in professional tax

Sindh Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Mukesh Kumar Chawla has said that Sindh Excise Department has recovered Rs5696.447 million in terms of various taxes during the month of July. This he said while presiding over a meeting in his office on Monday. Secretary Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control secretary Abdul Haleem Shaikh, Directors-General Shabbir Ahmed Shaikh and Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, as well as other officers, attended the meeting. While briefing the meeting, DG Shaikh said that Rs699.44 million was collected in terms of motor vehicle tax, Rs3999.688 million in infrastructure cess and Rs47.04 million in terms of professional tax. The remaining amount was recovered in other various taxes.
