The result is wide-scale corruption which neither media nor the people highlight
GILGIT BALTISTAN: The PM’s accountability drive has prevailed across country with leaders are in jail or facing corruption charges. However, much is different in Gilgit Baltistan. GB is the only so-called province where no accountability institution is working. The result is wide-scale corruption which neither media nor the people highlight. For instance, the last PPP government spread nothing but corruption in our institutions. Teacher posts were sold for Rs3 lac. Students who hardly could pass matriculation or intermediate had been given a post of BPS-14. Owing to these malpractices, the education system was in shambles.
It is my request to honorable PM; please expend the accountability process in GB as well. We, especially the youth, want to get rid of corrupt politicians in the region for the sake of prosperity and progress.
