Internet has provided tools to disenfranchised groups and individuals to attack and sometimes defeat the powerful.
ISLAMABAD: This is with reference to your editorial of July 4 titled “New age media”. I agree with the negative dimensions of internet-generated applications and social media. But we should remember that it is the internet which has provided unprecedented tools to disenfranchised groups and individuals to attack and sometimes defeat the powerful. One only has to look at impact of social media in the Egyptian context.
