EMTs refresher course postponed

RAWALPINDI: Emergency Medical Technician’s Advanced Refresher Course of Rescue 1122 has been postponed for the time being in anticipation of possible Indian aggression and floods in the country due to the monsoon rains. The refreshers course was scheduled to begin from August 26 in Lahore in which  hundreds of EMTs from all over Punjab. Rescue 1122 were to attend. Sources said that Deputy Director HR Dr Fawad Shahzad Mirza had issued an office order yesterday stating that from August 26. Advanced refresher course of EMTs would start at Emergency Services Academy Lahore for which an orderwas issued on August 9. However in view of prevailing situation in the country the refresher course has been posted till further notice.
