Shaniera, Wasim Akram share heartwarming anniversary notes on social media

The couple celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary on August 14

KARACHI: August 14 is a special date for Shaniera and Wasim Akram. It not only marks Pakistan's Independence Day but also the couple's wedding anniversary. This year, the power duo celebrated six years of being together.

On the occasion, Shaniera took to Instagram to share a heartwarming note for her significant other.

"Nothing makes me prouder than sharing our 6th wedding anniversary with Pakistan on such a significant day," the former cricketer's wife wrote.

"Six years ago we made a commitment to each other with promises of love, unity, kindness, growth and prosperity. The same mantra we believe in for Pakistan," Shaniera added.

Praying for spending a lifetime with each other, Shaniera said, "And I hope, Wasim and I stay as unified and as strong, just like our country, we live in today. Happy Anniversary, @wasimakramliveofficial. I hope we have many many more. In sha Allah."

Looks like Shaniera was not the only one who expressed her love on social media. Wasim also took to Twitter to wish his ladylove in his own quirky style.
