Eid fashion: Celebrities light up Instagram

Let's take a look at some of the delightful traditional wear that made our style cut this Eid

KARACHI: Eidul Azha saw many of our favourite celebrities rock a myriad of beautiful ensembles, sharing their looks on Instagram and stunning our feeds.

While some of our earlier trend predictions for the festive occasion came true, we are also taken by surprise at some swoon-worthy choices stars such as Sabar Qamar, Sonya Hussyn and Hania Amir sported.

Let's take a look at some of the delightful traditional wear that made our style cut this Eid.

Pink peshwas with Mehreen Syed

Doesn't Mehreen look pretty in this peshwas ensemble? As predicted before Eid, peshwas were a trend on the fashion front and we love how some celebrities have styled them up. The model excudes traditional charm as she glows in this pink set which was a delight to the eyes. A matching dupatta and statement earrings gave us all the right festive vibes.

Brilliant black gharara with Sanam Jung

Black is a classic choice for Eidul Azha. We love how Sanam created mysterious traditional vibes in a black and gold ensemble, which looked stunning. The gharara twist was done all-so-right and the gold detailing is nothing short of regal. Straight hair and dark eyes kind of reminded us of a desi Cleopatra.

Simple sari with Sonya Hussyn

Okay, usually we think sari's are a little too much for Eidul Azha, but Sonya sure knows how to keep it simple yet elegant. The model pairs the white sari with a patterned gold and maroon blouse as well as Roman style sandals which we love. The understated henna is just the right amount and a waist belt kept the ensemble very trendy. A casual top knot tied the whole vibe together to perfection. Love it!

Golden glow with Hania Amir

All we can say is, wow! Hania looked simply glowing in this stunning traditional ensemble. The Janaan star looked poised and elegant in the golden shalwar kameez set. Red lipstick, winged liner and a sleek bun screamed lady-like all over, as well as simple statements earrings. What a perfect choice for Eidul Azha.

Silky sensation with Saba Qamar

This silky orange and blue sensation by Saba won hearts this Eid. The colour blocking is on point, not to mention how gorgeous that ice blue dress is. The Lahore Se Aagey actor simply stunned in this Hussain Rehar masterpiece. What a beautifully vivacious look!
