Operation against spurious sweets to last until Eid

K-P Food Authority says inspections will continue until Eidul Azha

BANNU:  

The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Food Authority team in Bannu inspected bakeries and sweet production units, sealing many bakeries for poor and unhygienic conditions

K-P Food Authority Assistant Director Waseefullah said that inspections will continue until Eidul Azha for the provision of safe and hygienic supply of sweets to the people of Bannu. He added that the operations were conducted on the directives of Deputy Director Zeeshan Mahsud.

Meanwhile, a special team of the Food Department in Lower Dir checked bakeries and sweet shops along with flatbread makers, grocery stores and butchers in Munda Bazaar.
