KARACHI: It's that time of year again. Eidul Azha is around the corner and we are looking forward to seeing our favourite celebrities rocking their outfits over the festive break.

We've been spying some great trends lately on Instagram and hope our prediction for these picks will come true. From bespoke traditional wear to pops of colour here and there and even 'those' shoes everyone is sporting lately, we have you covered for some major style inspiration.

And of course, no trend prediction can happen without looking up to some of our go-to celebrity fashionistas - think Maya Ali, Ayesha Omar and Iqra Aziz. Take this as your style guide.

Sunset-coloured shalwar kameez

We are obsessed with sunset colours right now. And it seems many of our favourite celebrities like Iqra are feeling our vibe. Hone in on this trend with traditional wear, such as shalwar kameez as sported by none other than the Suno Chanda star. Burnt oranges, reds and deep pinks look like a summer evening dream. Not to mention enchanting, of course.

If your'e looking for something a little more casual yet traditional, check out Ayesha in a colourful ensemble by Generation. Add a pair of statements earrings to give a little festive bling.

A colour pop

Unless you've been living under a rock, you may have noticed colour popping up everywhere on your style feeds. Whether it's nails, eyes or accessories, neutral days are over and we are not complaining in the slightest. Take the lead from mega modest fashion blogger Ascia, who boasts over 2.6 million followers on Instagram. Bright eye shadow is all the rage lately but be sure to skip on the eyeliner and use just a slick of mascara.

If eye shadow isn't your thing, try this multi-coloured manicure for something a bit different.

Actor Meesha Shafi also looked ravishing in a bright purple lip, which we think also hits the colour pop trend in all the right ways. Try it with a black or white solid shaded outfit.

Eid fashion: The celebrities who stunned Instagram

Doesn't style it-girl Maya look super pretty in this pishwas number? The white with multi-coloured accents makes us swoon, especially with the matching dupatta. Of course, khussas are still trending from last Eid so keep it going with this traditional yet sophisticated look.

Also, these ensembles by fashion designer Misha Lakhani exude everything we want to see this Eidul Azha. Pink and khaki is such a thing right now and we want to hone in our inner folk princess while we are at it.

Neutral contemporary

Want something contemporary to wear for Eid? Check out Alia Bhatt in this neutral number by Love Bird Studio. We love the flared pants and matching strappy heels. If you like, jazz the outfit up with a pop of colour like mentioned above.

Square sandals

These shoes are so trendy and chic right now, so take the lead and pair your outfit with one of these beauties. They are available in a myriad of colours and we think they will look gorgeous with either traditional or contemporary wear.

Our favourites, however would have to be these electric blue heels by Bottega Veneta. Mix comfort and class with a pair like this and you're good to go.

But keep in mind, if the rain forecast turns out to be true, you might not be able to pull off any of these inspirations! Hah!
