We hope necessary work will be done to avoid repetition of what happened this year
JOHI: Rains bring relief to the parched lands of Thar and Kachho in Sindh. Also, Kachho is bestowed with other sources of water like water streams and springs. Rainfall in Balochistan maintains the water flow in these mountain streams. This way some areas like Kachho are rich in water resources. However, the problem that Kachho faces is neglect and mismanagement. This year has proved to be lucky for the people of Kaccho as it has received enough rainfall. But neglect by the government created problems for the people. However, a friend told me that that the State Development Organisation (SDO) was concerned about the situation. They worked overtime to ensure that the road communication was restored. Now vehicles can easily ply the roads. We have all praise for them. We hope necessary work will be done to avoid repetition of what happened this year.
