Accused Zafar alias Saeen and Obaid alias Aabi were produced before the court.
"I am receiving threats and have written a letter to the prosecutor-general in this regard," said the government lawyer, praying the court that the hearing be adjourned till he receives a response to the letter.
The ATC adjourned the hearing till August 20.
The statements of 26 witnesses have been recorded in the case.
The court has declared two accused, head of banned outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Mullah Fazalullah and Shahidullah Shahid, absconders in the case.
According to police, the accused confessed to conducting reconnaissance and facilitating the attack on former SSP Chaudhry Aslam, who, along with his companions, was killed in a bomb blast on January 9, 2014.
