PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Information Minister Shaukat Yousafzai on Tuesday said that the enemy was using the disunity amongst the Muslim Umma to its advantage, adding that the silence of the leading global Islamic body on recent events in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) had astonished the government.

Addressing a Khatm-e-Nabuwat conference in Peshawar, the provincial information minister urged all Muslim countries to raise their voices for the Kashmir issue and that the Organisation of Islamic Countries (OIC) should play its due role against the change the status of the occupied areas.

said that some political parties were using the pulpit for furthering their political interests. This, however, was harming the faith and the power of belief amongst fellow Muslims.
