Authorities in Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK) placed large parts of the region under lockdown early Monday while India sent in tens of thousands of additional troops and traded accusations of clashes with Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC).

Consequently, pro-Kashmir Pakistani protesters held a rally at the diplomatic enclave in Islamabad on Monday, August 5, and shouted anti-Indian slogans as they denounce the ongoing situation of political unrest in IoK.
