Breastfeeding awareness drive begins

RAWALPINDI: Punjab Health Department has kicked-off “Ma ka Doodh Lazmi Khorak” campaign across the province. The campaign will continue till August 7 in which 53,000 lady health workers would go door-to-door to sensitise mothers on keeping their children of up to two years of age on their feed. The health workers would also educate mothers regarding benefits of breast milk for their children.
